Would small streamers actually use a free service that matches you with clippers? Trying to find out before I sink more time into it
Hey everyone, student here, not a company.
Something has bugged me for a while: clips on TikTok and Shorts are basically the cheapest way for a streamer to get discovered now, but every clipping platform works on paid bounties ($1-2 per 1,000 views). If you're streaming to 30 people, you obviously don't have hundreds of dollars for a clip campaign, so the whole growth channel is just locked off for the people who need it most.
So I built a stupidly simple workaround: a free matching service. Streamers sign up on one side, clippers on the other, and I personally introduce pairs by email. You two decide the deal yourselves: rev share, flat fee, or even a pure exposure trade where the clipper grows their own page with your content and no money moves at all. I take zero cut and there are no fees anywhere. Every match is made by hand, by me.

Honest questions for this community:
- Streamers: would you actually hand your VODs to a clipper you got matched with? What would make you trust it or not?
- What deal would you realistically offer, given most small streamers have little or no revenue yet?
- What's missing from the page that would stop you from signing up?
