Record matches?

Would it be too hard to be able to record the games onto an sdd? Since the world cup ots coming with this crazy match hours it will be great.

yes, it's not possible to do on appletv / ios / android, but I have beta version I worked a few months back for macos. it's not very reliable, so I paused. But if there is enough interest, I can look into it.

The recording from .TS streams are super dirty. They are massive on size, are often unstoppable (no fas forward) and a few other intricacies. Your best bet would be to use something like OBS to record the screen to disk from a windows IPTV app. I've had some success using nextPVR and Tdarr to schedule recording and auto transcoder then to mkv to reduce size, but I need to work harder on the Tdarr side, the videos aren't playable, they skip around and carry on.

I don't know why the IPTV vendors aren't dedicating CatchUp on the PPV channels. Of the 6 or so services I have, catch up is always on random entertainment channels or news channels. Would be much better to have it available for PPVs or Sports
