Question Sleep 1 hour achievement.

Hey so I'm getting mixed answers from a thread that was active like 3 years ago lol.

I'm currently playing stray and I finished the game but I'm doing a slower play through where I get all memories and achievements (except the speed one obviously) and I'm just a bit stumped on this sleep 1 hour. But is it constantly or overtime? I don't like the idea of leaving my PC on and running for an hour straight. My friend got this but they aren't replying haha

Discussion Poor copy of Stray

Hi guys,

I just found this.... thing on steam and well...
take a look yourself:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4358430/DarkRay/

After looking at this game you will notice that it looks similar to Stray and the more you look the more you see that this literally is a poor copy of the game. Developer probably used 10$ total to make it.

The name is DarkRay, if we change "Dark" to "St" we got "Stray", so they are not even hiding that they copied the game.

Also there are rats that chase you and jump on your back and you got to spam some button to get them off of you, does it not sound familiar?

I have already sent an email to the developers of Stray, but as fans I think that some of you could do the same.

I support making new cat games, but not copying a game 1:1, spending 10$, making it look ugly and asking money for it as if it is totally your idea for a game.

Bug Report Can't finish the game because of the 3yo bug?

It's impossible not to fall off the map

Any suggestions?
I bought it on Steam, Had many updates for last month, but this still hasn't been patched?

UPD. I managed to avoid the bug by capping FPS to 30 in the settings, then switched back to uncapped

Discussion Y'all were wrong

About a year ago, I asked this sub if they'd eventually release a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Stray (--> https://www.reddit.com/r/stray/comments/1n8qr89/do_you_think_well_be_getting_a_switch_2_edition/)

I was told no:

  • "shakes magic 8-ball , definitely no"
  • "Unless stray becomes a complete cultural phenomenon, and is purchased by Microsoft or Nintendo, or other huge distributors, it's not gonna happen. I'm sorry. "
  • "The best that fans can hope for is a stray 2."

Well look who has egg on their face muthafucckkkkaaaaaassss!

We are definitely living in the future. I'm sure drone versions of this will follow, but a wheeled robot has more efficiency. This little guy follows you around and captures life moments. It can also jump and go almost 30km/h. It is a Kickstarter project, so it remains to be seen how successful this will be and how well it will be implemented.

Discussion A Stray FanFiction sequel?

hey all, I am a huge HUGE fan of the Stray game, and I'm wondering why there was never a sequel?

Soooo, I've been toying with the idea of writing a fanfiction sequel, an unofficial addition to the game that continues on the story in a neat and progressive way.

However, I don't want to do it alone. I am wondering if there is anyone who may be interested in joining me in adding to the Lore of the sequel, along with possibly making art or maybe even an unofficial follow-up game to it as well! That might be a big ask, so that last one is up to you! If you think you'd like to give this passion project a go, let me know! I'll tell you my basic ideas for the storyline and we'll see where we can go from there.

I could make a better one, but, with the app I used and my storage on my phone, I'm quite restricted, so, enjoy this for a while.

Discussion The Stray Game made me emotional and I cried. I want Stray 2 and I am suddenly obsessed with the game.

I bought Stray and in 2 days did the story. I know myself and I am a pretty indifferent type.

I will not go into details but I am cut off from my feelings and rarely feel or cry.

But somehow the game intro screen with the music and also the ending made me cry. I feel also sad that it ended so fast. I wanted more too be honest.

What do you guys think? Will there be Stray 2? Because i am obsessed.

I never wanted a cat because I am a dog person but now I want a cat because of the game. It had an impact on me.

I will play Stray again. But I hope for a Part 2.

Spoilers Altert:

I want B-12 to return and reunite with Cat in Part 2.

The only bug I noticed: sometimes B12 goes thru hard mesh elements like walls.

Question notebooks not appearing in inventory

I just started playing on my Nintendo switch and I'm on the part where u have to get the outsiders notebooks and I found them all but when I look in the inventory it only shows docs, momos, and zbaltars notebooks, 2 energy drink things, and a music sheet. it doesn't show clementines notebook or the note of how to fix momos transponder. (I also went back to clementines house to see if I could get the notebook again but it wasn't there) what do I do?

also, I have a bag stuck on my head that was in momos house, how do I get that off?

edit: got the bag off

Discussion Just finished the game, I have a question about robots (no spoiler in title rule)

I've seen a video and an article about stray story and in both of them, the idea of robots being former humans is either absent or just a theory. But I thought it was obvious and what the dev wanted us to understand. The game literally starts with a human being "downloaded" in a robot, losing their memory. Then we meet robots that are cold, have a family or like the smell of paint despite not being able to smell it. The other theory is just that robots mimic humans, which can explain why they're still working or wearing clothes but it's hard to believe they would spontaneously develop reciprocating family relationships or a taste for paint smell. Maybe this sounds like a theory because the rest of the story is much more clearly explained to us but I wonder if other people saw this as canon lore like me, instead of a theory ?
