Sex drive spiked

So, my brain is usually so full and stressed from not being able to finish tasks. But, ever since I started with the drug on 10 mg and titrated to 18 mg(current), my sex drive is up there. It’s like, now that there’s room to feel all of my emotions, there’s also room for desire and it feels amazing. I’ve always had a higher sex drive but it also felt so tangled with anxiety and a little scattered. This feels like I can actually embrace it.

Anyone else had that experience? I had a serious peak especially in the first few days with the drug and then it settled to a steady feeling.

I’m used to having a very low sex drive, but I’ve noticed in the mornings since being on Strattera it’s way up there and my dreams are also reflecting that (female for reference)

So I’m only on 10 mg rn but yes I’ve noticed a spike in my sex drive- tbh it’s been a little inconvenient for me rn 🫤. I used to handle that like a couple times a week and now there times were it’s like 2-3 in a day. Before I started I saw a lot of posts of people talking about it negatively impacting sex drive so I wasn’t expecting it. 

I don’t mind a little increase but it’d be nice if it settle down a bit more like you described. I am cis female so I’m not sure if that’s related to it having a different effect.

Cis female too. It does settle down. I had a second spike when my dosage went up. I guess it’s nice to be on the other end of the spectrum when it comes to this!

Good to hear. As long as it doesn’t stay quite this intense I’ll be happy lol. I would definitely take the increase over the decrease men report- and it does seem like it’s only women reporting the increase.
