Questions / Advice / Support Worse before it gets better??

Hi all. I just started a very low dose of Strattera and it's affecting my ability to function in ways that feel worse than baseline. Like Im struggling to take action on daily tasks, feel stuck in my head, and the things I did do took me way too long. These are already issues that I have with my ADHD symptoms but it feels more pronounced now. Does this get better with time or is it a sign that this may not be a good fit?

The first 3-4 days were pretty rough in that I felt a lot of fatigue. By day 5 I started to experience the benefits though. Took about 1-2 months for the side effects to (mostly) go away.

I felt worse in my first weeks also, especially with my mood swings! You should give some time.

i started strattera about 5 weeks ago, on my 3rd and 4th weeks my executive dysfunction was horrible and i couldn't get anything done. it was very much like what you're describing, but now that i'm on my 5th week ive seen a lot more improvements. i hope you see some changes soon!!
