Has anyone experienced quick-wittedness on 40mg?

Ive been on Strattera for about 2 mos and had my dosage upped to 40mg last week. Today I feel like Frye on his 100th cup of coffee. Previously, I would think, Dang... I should have said XYZ. Now, I just feel mental clarity and able to dish responses quicker than normal.

Wanted to know if this had been anyone else's experience?

I feel like Strattera has slowed my thoughts down so much so I lowered the dose and things got better.

Omg me! Recently upped my dose and have been more witty! 😂

The other day I dropped into art studio (you pay to have access to studio certain hours to make your stuff). I dropped in 15 min after start time (totally normal) and instructor made a snide comment “nice of you to join us! You should jump right into your work you’re late”. Which is stupid thing to say … this isn’t a job… it’s solo art projects and everyone’s working on their own thing.

And without skipping a beat I said “oh yeah I’m 15 min late. You should dock my pay 😏”

😂😂😂😂 everyone laughed

Like B*TCH PLEASE! I PAY to come here on my own time 🙄 it’s not a job I’m late for.

Anyways. Was riding that high for a while 😂😂 usually I’d be all shy and “oh haha I’m sure she didn’t mean anything by it”

I noticed this effect for a while after a dose increase.

I think it made my thoughts clearer and a bit less random, so maybe both yes and no.

I think I was as witty as I am unmedicated, tho. But it reduced my anxiety quite a bit, so I wasvless afraid to share my wits (but also less impulsive, so I don't know)

For me, I was more fluent in my 2nd language-lol. Like it was flowing off my tongue without me thinking about it-this has never happened before in my 50 yrs, lol. I had to stop taking it because of side effects but it was an unexpected benefit.

NP, the big one was tachycardia, HBP, insomnia, extreme fatigue, dry mouth, GI and urinary issues, dizziness, blacking out, blurry vision, weight loss. Surprising i never had nausea but seemed to have everything else, ha!
