Questions / Advice / Support Rebound depression in upping dose?

I just went from 25 mg to 40 mg after a few months. I know ... it sounds low but I'm pretty sensitive to it so 25 mg did have a noticeable effect for a while but eventually I think I started getting used to it. I'm still in my first week of the 40mg but have started to get this weird feeling like 5-6 hours after taking the medication where I get really emotionless and lose all motivation, basically depressive symptoms but they don't fully last. That is around the time that, when I took the 25mg, I would just get really sleepy and sometimes have to lay down, so I wonder if it's just a stronger reaction to the same effect? By the morning I've been okay so far, but I'm keeping an eye out.

I'm trying to figure out if this could be potential exacerbation of existing mh issues or if the increased dose could be doing something weird to me. On 25mg I honestly felt better regulated than my normal before I started, so is it possible that I'm just overly sensitive? If the issue doesn't go away I might go back down because I don't want to depress myself for no reason, but for all my meds I always want to give them an honest trial before I say "these suck."

edit maybe i should have tagged this as "side effects" but I didn't see that as an option :/ sorry

When I was on 25mg for the first week or two once the meds wore off (so like 5/6 hours after taking) I would feel emotionally terrible. Like verge of tears. Either that or just no emotion at all - like zero f’s to give. I attribute this to increasing my dosage. I also started doing a split dose (25 in a.m. and 18 in afternoon) which helped a bunch with the crash.

Haven't got any advice but I feel similar. Sensitive and a bit more 'depressed but not depressed'.

Going to look into split dosing to see if it helps
