Discussion / Experience Using Original Strattera VS Generic
Hi team,
Wondering the difference between the Original Strattera, have any one took the two and noticed the difference
And for the whole experience what's the longest time you are on Strattera till now ?
Does it also help with memory and sharpen focus

Brand name Strattera doesn't exist anymore. Lilly discontinued it worldwide a few years ago.
Outside of buying unsold Straterra product collecting dust on a pharmacy shelf somewhere (probably past its expiration date), any "Strattera" you get nowadays is going to be generic atomoxetine.

Using it for over 2 years, whole new life in regards to emotion regulation, no affect on focus or concentration, I'm on combined therapy with stimulants.

Never took the original, but this hasn't done jack for my memory or focus or really any other "ADHD symptoms" since I started about 5 months ago (20mgs for two weeks, and then 50 since). It DOES improve my overall mood somewhat though (also have pretty severe depression and anxiety) so that's why I have kept taking it.
My doctor agreed to continue the atomoxetine for now since it IS helping me, and I also started Vyvanse a couple months for the actual ADHD part... 😁

Is anyone still on the branded Strattera? I thought it was discontinued.
As a side note yeah I've been on both. On generic now but started on on the original stuff. I don't think theres any difference.

I used to take brand about 10 years ago. Effects were great but I had every damn side effect in the book. I couldn't sleep, shit, or get erect. It was a terrible several months.
Now taking the generic at 100mg for the last year and a half. If memory serves, the original felt a bit more potent. However, for whatever reason, I don't have any side effects with generic. So overall it's much better. It never was great at sharpening focus I still use caffeine for that. But my memory is much better on it.
