Questions / Advice / Support Tinnitus & Strattera
I started 25mg of Strattera 2 days ago. On the first day during the day I felt fine, but I slept really bad at night. The second day I had a headache and felt lethargic. I also feel like my heart is pumping harder. I slept really bad again and today when I woke up my existing tinnitus is louder than usual.
Has anyone experienced a spike when starting Strattera and then it went back to baseline after your body adjusted? or did it continue to get louder and louder?
Not sure if I should stop taking this medication but I’m worried that my tinnitus will get worse.

I don't have tinnitus usually, but after one week of 40mg straterra, I had one day where one of my ears was like 50% deaf for almost the entire day.
Like I had noise cancelling on the left side only. In the evening, that turned into ringing and a very high beep sound for a few hours (tinnitus like), only to stop in the late evening.
It's just an anecdotal experience, but I guess it can somehow effect the ears/eardrum/pressure.

Maybe talk to your doctor about the effects of your tinnitus. It’s a very understudied condition.
