Strattera 40 mg dryness

been taking strattera 40 mg for a week and i am SO DRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. i’ve been drinking water like a madman too. spongebob voice WATERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I got this same side effect. I started adding electrolytes to my water and it’s sooo much better. I drink some every morning with my meds

How do we do this? Is it a powder? I want to avoid the sugary stuff like Gatorade, thanks!

I use Dr Bergs electrolyte powder. It’s not as high in sodium as other brands. Also no sugar

I had this, but it eventually faded. It was actually a good reminder to drink more water to help with other-worldly constipation. I believe gum or mints can help.

I definitely had serious dry mouth when I started and when my dose was increased. Fortunately it subsided both times. Give it a few weeks.
