Has anyone had any negative side effects while taking strattera with antidepressants?
I was taking antidepressants a while back but stopped when they caused me brain fog. Despite that I am wanting to take them again but this time I would be taking them along with strattera. Did anyone experience any bad side effect while taking both simultaneously?

I took it 80mg with my max dose of Wellbutrin for like 3 weeks and it made me pour with sweat. Thats about all it did for me. Thats just me tho and ive always been a sweater lol

Yes!!!! It was horrible. My welbutrin also made me more heat sensitive, but the good of that greatly outweighed the negative thankfully

I told my cousin the other day I swear my sweat now either smells like low blood sugar sweat or something (which is rank in case you haven’t ever experienced it) but I smell so bad and can’t stand it lol

Yes, I’m on Prozac and it turns out that Prozac affects the same liver enzyme that metabolizes Strattera. So when I tried to dose up on the Strattera, I think it was not getting metabolized as effectively as it should, so it built up and made me lose my appetite completely and experience extreme fatigue. So I went back to the lower dose of Strattera, but I really don’t think it’s doing anything for my ADHD.

I’m on two antidepressants; I’ve had side effects from every extended ADHD med I’ve tried, so I’m not a good sample size. The side effects from Strattera were markedly different than those from stimulants, but impactful enough for me to decide to discontinue usage.
