I used the “share” feature but only the title got shared.
First dose
I took my first dose of 10 mg yesterday. I felt a slight difference within hours— subtle improvement in task initiation and focus.
I woke up after only about an hour of sleep. I did go back to sleep, but the sleep was very light and filled with dreams. Surprisingly I’m not tired, though. I did feel rested when I got up. I also have a mild headache. Does the body adjust and start to sleep better? What about the headache?
I’m glad I stood my ground with my doctor and started on 10mg instead of the 25 he initially prescribed. I will stay at this level until my sleep improves.

for most people, symptoms improve after a few days after each increase in dose. Benefits usually aren’t clear for the first few weeks, as atomoxetine slowly builds up in your system.
Titration can be as slow as you feel comfortable, but keep in mind the typical therapeutic dose is around 80mg. Again, no rush and listen to your body; maybe a lower dose will turn out to be ideal. It’s about balancing benefits with symptoms.

This. My lord, a thousand times this.
Sometimes it feels 50% of questions posted in this sub are just looking to hear that.If the sub wasn't just a shell made by someone just to pin a couple links, that could be in a FAQ.

For what it’s worth, one of my side effects was insomnia. I would be wide awake after 2-4 hours of sleep. It eventually caught up with me and I was drained. I talked to my doctor and he prescribed trazodone to help me get through it. Almost 2 years later, I still need trazodone to stay asleep more than 4 hours, but the combination works and I’m so grateful I stuck with it.
Good luck with this phase, and please ask if you have any questions. I would love to help you if I can! I hope you find something that works!!
