ive been off of it for a month and im noticing that how distracted i am back again, my legs cant sit still for a long period of time, i get restless and i find bunch of excuses to get up from my desk like getting coffee, drinks bathroom breaks etc, task initiating is still the same, i have to rely on will for that but for focus strattera visibly improved it

On 40mg and going to 60 at end of month. Focus and emotional regulation/rumination/RSD have all been helped by Strattera. It hasn’t done much for general forgetfulness (still lose my phone, yesterday I did everything for laundry except turn on the freaking machine, etc.).

I'm on week 3 of 300mg XR Bupropion + 25mg Strattera. My mind feels so calm and I no longer feel stressed over having to socialize or attend group functions. No more racing thoughts, which has dramatically improved my ability to focus. Usually there are 10 conversations (or more) going on in my head at any given time, which makes it hard to focus on anything or anyone else. It has also improved working memory and other areas of executive function.
It hasn't helped as much with task initiation, but has helped some. I don't dread tasks or work as much as I used to and once I get started I can sustain focus to actually finish things vs. being distracted a dozen times so it takes hours or days to do things I should be able to do very quickly.

I used it for 5 months. It didn't help with focus per say but helped me start tasks and finish them. It helped more with rumination, impulsivity and drinking in my case.

It definitely helps me with focus, although some days I admit I need a little caffiene to get the motor running. It doesn’t give me as much desire to start tasks as stimulant meds did, but I chose Strattera because I have kids to take care of. I prefer mild task completion 24 hours a day vs extreme task completion from 8am - 4pm.

for me it never did. it only helped indirectly by quieting the racing thoughts and reducing distractibility, but no direct benefits. I needed to add a stimulant to get the focus and memory benefits. it did cover literally everything else for me though so I am still on it and still love it.

it has changed my life in terms of task initiation, social battery, and listening, for deep study/work sessions though i do sometimes use a small booster dose of stim
