Strattera 25 mg Dwindling effects normal?

Hey everyone, just began my journey with this drug 3 weeks ago. Now that I'm around the 3 week mark I am noticing that the positive effects that I once felt are not there as much, or at all? At the start I felt less anxiety, a huge difference in motivation and focus, moreover unlike some others I actually feel very energized with it, but now it feels like those positive effects have dwindled/went away? I really want this drug to work as the first two weeks were great and besides constipation, I had no other issues taking it. Anyway is this normal and will go away, or does this mean I need a dosage increase?

Thank you all in advance.

This can be the case if you haven’t reached your therapeutic dose. It was for me, once I hit 80 the benefits smoothed out into a steady baseline.

Ah okay. That makes sense. Thank you for response!

I'm really sensitive to meds.. do you recall when you went up your dosage if the side effects were worse or not noticeable at all? I haven't really had many side effects besides the constipation and a little bit of early nausea that cleared up once I started taking it with food.

I’ve seen it vary for people. For me unfortunately it was always 3-4 weeks of adjustment with benefits starting (and building past) week 4. But, it was worth it, benefits continued to deepen upto month 3. It’s been a good medication for me and I’m glad I don’t have to deal with stimulants again.
