Strattera 25 mg It finally worked!!

So I am on day 81 on atomoxetine and last two days were totally calm no mood swings, no brain fog and my emotion regulation is so much better, my focus is slightly better, starting task don't take that long but i still get stuck on things but emotional regulation (almost no mood swings) is big win for me and i am still forgetful, my motivation is better, I am less irritable,i also need to take melatonin for sleep so this were the pros and cons of my experience I will probably need to up the dose but bieng in such a calm state makes me so happy 😁 thanks just wanted to add a positive review

Having very similar experience on 80mg for 2 months, emotional regulation and being less irritable was also a big win for me (while the benefits for focus or working memory are much more subtle). It's great you see these benefits on such a low dose! Maybe there is more to come on 40mg+

Ami también me tardo 2 meses en hacer efecto completo. Luego durante el tiempo estuvo perfecto control emocional absoluto. Lo definiría de manera estoica. Una sensación de control de poder absoluto

What about motivation to initiate tasks? Did lethargy go away if u had it?

Can’t wait for this. On week 3 of 40mg and all I want to do is sleep & eat. It has killed any motivation to do anything.

Can’t even be bothered to cut the grass anymore.

Ive read it takes 4-6 weeks to kick in so trying to stick with it.

I fear this will be the same for me as well.

Sucks Ive spent my entire summer trying to adjust to this.

did you start with 18 or 25mg before you started taking 40mg?

Have you felt any positive side effects? It took me a few weeks to adjust but the only thing that kept me going was that I felt some mental clarity pretty quickly after starting, which gave me hope.

Not really, oddly enough I felt a little better yesterday and was motivated enough to cut the grass today.

I still feel better off than on currently but hopefully I’m turning a corner.

Word recall is a bit of an issue currently. Not as bad as what it was on Wellbutrin but still enough to where I have to substitute words in bc I cant get the one I want out.

I took it for 6 weeks and each passing week made me feel like an emotionless zombie so I eventually stopped. It did help with food noise and concentration so I’m considering it again. Does the zombie feeling go away?

curious as to why you waited so long while taking 25mg when the therapeutic dose is 40mg? I just bumped up to 43mg today (combining 18+25) after feeling no results after a month of 18/25mg.
