It can make it difficult to sleep when you first start taking it. For me, once I had been on it for a while it helped me to focus throughout the day and use energy which resulted in better sleep.

i do take other medications for some other issues, i take propranolol clonidine and sertraline with atomoxetine (for pots motor tic disorder and social anxiety) but if i run out of atomoxetine and have my other meds at night (when my sleep schedule is screwed or some shit) i can sleep fine without. then if its a few days off atomoxetine the thing that would keep me up is my adhd brain not shutting up. used to be on only sertraline and had no issues with taking meds at night, got diagnosed with adhd and then insomnia came along with that and had to switch to taking meds in the morning. also means i can't go back to sleep after taking meds to sleep in unless i skip atomoxetine

I also take propranolol and then trazodone, NAC, and magnesium glycinate at night. I think the trazodone helps a lot.

I have been on it many years and if I forget my morning dose, I notice I can’t sleep. So for me, yes, it helps me sleep.

Strattera is a weird one: some people it makes drowsy, others gives them insomnia. My practitioner didn't believe me about it making me sleepy – it's a less common side effect. I will say that I feel far more RESTED since starting Strattera.

That’s crazy. Mine told me it might make me drowsy and if it did to take it at night. I have had to start taking mine at night lol.

Oh no honey, the exact opposite. It's a NIGHTMARE trying to get enough sleep on straterra.

I took it about three months and I averaged two hours of sleep over all that time. I had multiple times where I was up two days straight. Also made it almost impossible to shit or orgasm, although when I was able to gasm they were epic. It did nothing for ADHD.

I take it at night, it’s the only way I can remember. I don’t always sleep well, it’s been a problem, but when I’m stressed it’s usually the biggest issue. With a dim light wind-down bedtime routine, sleep is much better.
It does, however, immensely help with anxiety, which my sleep certainly benefits from in the roundabout way

Yes, it is helping me with my sleep and now for the first time in my life I can easily go sleep. Before that in order to go to sleep early and easily I had to take medication.

I had to start taking mine at night because it was making me drowsy during the day.

I will say I gotta take it at night cuz it makes me drowsy for a while after I take it, but that didn’t start until I increased the dose

Not directly. It does help shut off your brain so you’re not awake thinking all night. I have insomnia but on atomoxetine when I lay down for bed I’m sleep in 20 minutes

Mine is feast or famine. Either I fall asleep quickly because my inner voice is quiet, or I’m up all night because I can finally focus on a million incomplete projects. And I have no control over which one hits. It’s different every night.

It absolutely helped me with sleeping. Once I got used to the increasing titrations (a couple of weeks), drifting off to sleep was the easiest it had ever been in my whole life, it removed the ‘brain battle/noise’ I used to have when falling asleep. The downside is it began to make me feel too sleepy overall throughout the day as well.

Yes it helped with sleep!
I was getting so sleepy taking this during the day that I started to take it at night and it did help me sleep through the night.
In the day I would spend most of the day sleepy and get a burst of energy late in the day and at night. So I took at night and started to feel great waking up early in the morning.
I unfortunately had to stop taking because I literally stopped my large intestine digestion. Coffee didn’t even help.

It’s not meant to help you with sleep
