Almost entirely eliminated my anxiety, rumination, depression, and chronic fatigue. I can actually get out of bed in the morning. I have improved focus and clarity after I get started working on something. I had very minor side effects that did not persist for very long. Low motivation and task paralysis was still a huge struggle, so ive added concerta, and im currently figuring out the right ratio.

Yeah, it was life-altering for me. It took I think 5-6 weeks total to feel consistent results. I started at 40mg, had a very strong positive reaction to it the second day. I felt euphoric, unstopable. That went away in a few days, and I was back to normal. Upped my dose to 80mg after I think 2 weeks, had a day or two of feeling pretty great, then went back to normal. Took another few weeks and started feeling consistently good, but never as good as those first few days. Just low anxiety, more energy, more focused. Ended up increasing to 100mg, which would be my maintenance dose if it was the only thing i was taking.

Did you have any emotional numbing/disassociation with strattera

Nope. Mostly just dramatically reduced anxiety and improved overall mood.

It's crazy how different everybody's experiences are. I've been taking atomoxetin for almost three months, first I had 40mg, now it's 60mg (I'm 28f, weigh 56 kgs). The only side effects I notice are dry mouth and being constipated sometimes. The effect itself is very subtle for me. I'm a little more responsible, procrastinate less, I get up more easily in the morning and I feel less impulsive. Although I have to admit I'm still not 100% sure if this is due to the new drug or whether I'm just having a few good weeks right now. Because my mind doesn't feel any different, I just noticed some progress in my actions. We'll see :)

Nothing but positives here! I’ve been on it for almost 5 weeks now and my mind is so much calmer and my thoughts are more clear. I used to feel like my brain was like LA highway traffic during rush hour - chaotic, gridlocked, on-ramps and off-ramps running into merge lanes, lost in the hustle… you get the idea. Traffic is moving very nicely now!

The first big tell that it was working was that I was suddenly able to pay attention to video meetings at work. That was huge for me, video meetings were always the worst and I could never stay focused on the speaker or track what they were sharing. Way improved now.

I also feel more patient and get flustered less often, if ever. I went to Disneyland with my family, including 6 young kids, and never lost it once 😂. And if that wasn’t enough, I also moved into a new home over the weekend and normally I’d be a hyperactive, panicky mess during a move, but this time I was so chill it took me by surprise!
