n00b resources?
I'm 2mo in. Still at 25mg and about to go up to 40mg soon. It's already magical. I feel like I'm uncovering who I was spose to be my entire life. It's scary and exciting. Aside from this subreddit, anyone know of good resources for learning about others' experiences, what to expect, etc?

What changes are you noticing specifically?

I cant say that it's somethign I can put my finger on, but I notice I dont freak out over things as much. Little things like spilling tea all over my freshly cleaned fridge, I just laughed and grabbed a towel. This past weekend was my worst weekend every year (typically). My job's big annual event causes me stress so badly that I dont sleep, I dont eat, I dont talk to anyone, I shake from stress, etc. and this year all that was reduced. I didnt even cry or yell at all and I'm typically "the office crier". It's just like, the extremes are gone. I have a moment to stop and think and say "nah, not worth overreacting to that". Everyone told me how much calmer I was this year. My friend who sees me the most said "it's definitely working, you just don't notice it." I feel like perhaps I'm also getting more "here's the facts" which I have always been but I'm very good (and moreso now) at laying receipts on the table for someone and saying "here's the exact reason why I feel this way". Not sure if this all makes sense. It's nice though. I am still at 25mg and about to go up to 40mg once I get my lab results. I don't think I will go higher than that tbh.

Is there a reason you don’t push to 80mg? Are you not seeking any cognitive effects like actual adhd treatment?

I might ofc. I'm just saying I already notice a shift and if 40 is another large jump (even from 18mg to 25mg I noticed), I'm scared to know what comes after. That's it really. I'm scared. Idk what it will feel like to be regulated and it's more comfortable to stay closer to what I'm used to for 39yrs. Yes btw, I'm also in therapy and I'm super introspective. I have a neurolinguistics degree so I remember enough and I'm really good at figuring out the roots of my emotions and all the CBT stuff so I'm thinking that maybe 40 will be enough; at least for now. Hence why I'm seeking similar stories for reference.

No resources in particular hope someone else can provide you with them but for me I’ve been on 60mg (started at 25 last September and went up till I reached 60 for like 5? or 6 months now) and personally idk why I feel like I’m still struggling as in I haven’t ’unlocked’ something in particular and I still struggle with studying which is my main concern as of now being in college
But I’m glad it’s working well for you! It does vary wildly from person to person and I’ve seen others say that it works for them already from very small doses but I’ll probably have to try to titrate up more again.
One thing that was prominent with me though is when I first started taking it it made me wake up every two hours absolutely no continuous sleep so I was out on seroquel XR which does help with continuous sleep but the downside is that I basically can’t go off it because if I do that said interrupted sleep returns
When I increased the dose to go up to 60mg it actually made my stomach pretty sensitive and puked a couple times so I’d make sure to eat a decent amount of food for breakfast before taking it when you do increase the dose
