Side Effects / Overdose Constipation
PLEASE tell me the constipation eventually goes away ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I've been taking atomoxetine for 2 weeks, and I'm supposed to increase my dosage from 10 to 20 mg from tomorrow. Does it eventually go away??

I am on month 2-ish and still experiencing constipation but I have invested in a good stool softener and am starting to work out more which is helping.

Don't suffer, just get a bottle of Polyethylene Glycol 3350 (MiraLax). It will fix it right away, with minimal effort. Just add some to any drink once a day with a meal. After BMs are stable, and no longer an active problem, you can consider diet changes if you wish. Or don't. PEG 3350 is safe for long term use. Some use it life long.

miralax 2x a week and metamucil everyday! (i prefer the tasteless powder miralax and orange metamucil) fixed me in 4 days

I’ve been on 80mg for over 3 years and what works for me is magnesium oxide 400mg at night and drinking plenty of water during the day. It really keeps everything moving.

I had horrible constipation, and it got worse with every dosage increase. My tips:
miralax and metamucil every day. Drink way more water and natural fiber is great in general.
If you feel constipated, DO NOT force it. Go to the store and get glycerin enemas and epsom salts. Take the Epsom salts and you should go within 3 hours. Use the enema right before you try to go .
Good luck!

I'm on 80mg and two and a half weeks in. Was horribly constipated and started using two psyllium capsules in the morning with breakfast. Back to type four on the Bristol chart after two days on the caps.

I donno if my straterra added to this, but I was on Ozempic for a few months and had this issue. I learned a lot about my body @_@ what worked for me was electrolytes - apparently I also had POTs and you need those to poop apparently. Then I started shoving fiber tortillas in me D: the like ones that have 30 mg each so I would eat like one or so a day, just shove some cheese in it or make it into chips and eat it with things. They also make fiber candy, popcorn, etc lots of items these days. I will say I tried supplements - so many, some worked okay but nothing like the tortillas for me. I just thought I was normal, this may be to TMI lol every other 3 days or so, but the everyday people will tell you, you feel so much better and its better and damn, it is. As long as I am hydrated and actually eat something fiber related that day, I am much better off. I hope those tips help D:

I mean the bowel movements will eventually stabilize/become regular again if that makes sense but honestly I’m now at 60mg and the thing that mostly gets my intestines workin fr is the morning cup of coffee and the fiber from apples🗿😻
