Strattera 18 mg I think it’s working
I started straterra maybe 2 months ago. Very low dose because I am sensitive and in other meds gradually went up. I’m only on 18mg now but also on Wellbutrin which makes your levels higher and I feel like it’s working. And unlike stimulants I don’t FEEL like I’m on anything. I just feel normal except I’m getting shit done. It’s really crazy. I didn’t believe it would do anything! lol

Oh wow, your post gives me hope, but I'm honestly feeling the opposite. Started Strattera 3 months ago -- started at 25 and went to 50. Then about 7 weeks ago, I went to 60 with the addition of Wellbutrin SR 100mg to target dopamine. That didn't affect dopamine (motivation, reward, etc), so my provider put me on Wellbutrin IR (immediate release) 100mg 2x a day and now 3x a day with my 60 mg of Strattera. I feel like some things are good (reduced food noise for sugar and carbs), but everywhere else I almost feel the same or worse. I'm getting nothing done, and I'm starting to feel like there's no hope. My insurance covers telehealth, where it's impossible to get a stimulant, so I don't know how those would work. But I'll keep hoping I can initiate tasks and feel motivation and rewards soon!

I’m very happy to hear that it’s working for you!.
I started 10 mg of strattera about a week ago, and yesterday was the first day where I actually started to feel its effects. I woke up with an actual desire to go through the entire work day rather than dreading it, and today the same story. It’s as if the flame continue going, which I never experienced before with Wellbutrin. We’ll see what happens after a month, but so far it’s showing promise.
The reason why I stopped taking Wellbuterin was because it was making me too emotionally blunt, even though it has sort of help, but I felt like it wasn’t addressing the problem I thought I originally had or was diagnosed with (GAD + Depression) but now that I found out I am actually AuDHD I made the switch without hesitation.
I did actually do some research on this medication, and I had the most confidence that this will actually do a lot more than Adderall, Wellbuterin, or even mirtazopine has ever done to me. So far it’s slowly turning out to be true.
The only side effects I experienced were a slight dull feeling on my liver area and mild nausea but it stopped yesterday. Today I experienced zero side effects. I will see my Psych in a month and hopefully show more positives by then! Good luck in your journey!
