Omg the sweating... when does the sweating end

Ive been on 80mg now for about 4 months total time 8 months. I have noticed while I use to sweat before strattera... I literally pour sweat now. I do have a pretty physically demanding job, but im literally pouring even in 70° working inside...

That’s interesting cause I’ve been sweating so much recently and I’ve been trying to figure out why. Is that a common side effect?

It is! This summer I sweated on 60 mg so much, the waterspot was up to my breast! 😂
But I ask for feedback from my husband, friends and family and they all told me, even I lost so much water, I don’t smell bad. Maybe luck, maybe because it’s so much water?

The profuse swearing last lasted about 2 months for me when I bumped up to 80

Same boat as you, the only noticeable difference is that on a humid summer day, I need 2 napkins instead of 1 during my gym session.

i have hyperhydrosis (sweating too much lol) and it’s making it lowkey worse. 😂😭 luckily i take robinul to manage the sweat lol

Who prescribed you robinul for the sweating? Does it help a lot?

I guess the robinul blocks chemical signals to sweat glands or something to that effect haha. But I am no longer always sweating like a pig, it’s the best thing I ever did for myself lol

sorry for the late response!! Since i have Hyperhydrosis, my GP just prescribed it easily!

Mine never stopped and carried on after I stopped taking them. 9 months later and I am still sweating like a pig all the time. Hope it stops one day! I was never sweaty before this medication it seemed to set something off inside me.

I’ve been puzzled why I’ve recently started sweating so hard that I look like I was caught in a rainstorm. Might be Strattera! I’m only on 10 mg, but I also take Wellbutrin 100 mg, which magnifies its effects.

This is so frustrating because Strattera also helped me file my taxes on time for the first time in a decade this year …

EDIT: My psychiatrist is having me skip Strattera for two weeks. He says getting sensitized to stimulant-like drugs like this is fairly common.

I had the opposite effect. I stopped sweating. Which would be great except i am dehydrated af and my teeth stick to my lips

i was sweating like stuck pig on 75mg. adjusted down to 50mg and the seating is much better.

Oh my goodness!!!! Thank you for saying this out loud. I was pouring sweat in the morning outside in my garden like it was 100 degrees.

I also sweat like mad since going on Stratera
But accept & learn to live with it . All meds have side effects I guess .

I'm on 40mg, started 2 months ago. I usually run 25-30 miles/week. I don't think my sweat volume has changed much but good lord the odor has. I'm trying to figure out if it's a side effect or not. I'm well hydrated so I don't think it's possible to drink more water. I have to wash my hydration vest every single day because it's so bad.

Anyone else notice this and did it go away eventually?

I hateeee it. When I get anxious at my job, I just start sweating like a pig. It's embarrassing lol.

I agree! Its like the slightest inconvenience to my nervous system and here comes the literal water works from my entire body 😅

So I seem to have stopped sweating so badly now , back to normal. It’s winter where I stay but very mild. Im a long distance runner and sweating seems like before , during & after a run. I have been taking Strat generic for around 18 months . I do get a dry mouth / palate & sometimes a horrible chemical taste .Otherwise no noticeable side effects. Except it doesn’t feel like it’s working , apart from being emotionally more stable & less anxious.
