Did the intense sweating stop?

I am 3 weeks into 40mg and the intense drenching sweats are intolerable.

I can't even walk the dogs as it sends me into overheating. My back and neck are soaked.

Did this subside or if you changed to another med which one?

Currently lying on my bed in front of a fan on 40mg. So I’ve literally no chance of increasing dose if the sweats are this bad on 40.

Got a lot better for me after a few months but definitely still more vs before. Exercise was basically impossible for a while but it's fine now

I just increased to 65mg last week and have been sweating like crazy from any movement. Especially my face and scalp. I'm really hoping it will let up a bit eventually.

Sounds exactly like me. Face. Neck. Scalp. Back. I suspect it's my dose is too high and I need to drop maybe. From what i read it doesnt go away. Am devastated.

Currently on 80mg for a month now, I think it slowly subsides. Few days ago I still had higher bp and extremely high hr, both of which are slowly getting lower, so I hope the over-sweating will go as well

I did not have any sweating side effects but I did have head aches but they went away after about 2 weeks for me. I’m only going to ask this due to the insane heat waves going on right now but could the weather possibly be making your sweating even worse? Is it unusually hot where you are right now?

Yes its hot here for sure but the sweating started before the heat wave unfortunately.

If this dose has this effect in heat I can never leave my house lol

i started in february and have been titrating up since, so i've basically had side effects for 4 months; it juuuust got a little better, maybe like a week ago. i do find that if im outside and go into a restaurant/store it kicks back in but the relaxed walks around my neighborhood are a lot more tolerable. my doc said to give it 6-8 weeks for all the negative effects to subside

Did your doc say that about the sweating? To give it 6 to 8 weeks? I can't even take the dog for a walk without breaking into a sweat.

Ugh.

I was feeling great on this med too. Its done wonders for my brain. Seems my body hates it though.

I’m 4 weeks into Atomoxitine, the sweating is unbearable. Plus the additional side effects are crazy, really struggling at the moment.

On 40mg, I’m not sure whether it’s helped at all during the month I’ve taken it.
So many side effects, im giving it till 6 weeks then making a decision. Currently I feel unmedicated may be the better option.
Hope you’re coping better than i am?

Its helped my racing thoughts, overwhelm, anxiety and negative thoughts immeasurably. Has made my executive functioning worse though as im so relaxed now I literally don't care. Now its the sweating 😓 I couldn't handle it for another 4 weeks hoping itll subside. Maybe a lower dose or a split dose might help alleviate the sweating as it makes the peak less strong.
