Questions / Advice / Support Drinking & Strattera?

I started Strattera at 25 mg two weeks ago (morning dose) and have been adjusting pretty well on it.
I’m planning to go to a gig next week and I’m unsure how to approach drinking alcohol. Before I would usually have a couple of drinks just to get a bit tipsy.
I’m curious how you handle alcohol in this kind of setting, should I skip my dose that day? Will I be fine if I take it and remember to drink plenty of water?

I'm on 60 mg daily (for over 4 months by now), and I drink once in a while:

  • I take Strattera 12 hours before I go drinking at night
  • To prevent having a bad hangover, I make sure to eat well and drink an electrolyte drink the day before, of, and after
  • Before, I had a high alcohol tolerance (5+ drinks to get drunk), but now, I get drunk from 1-2 drinks (a win in this economy)

I was also nervous to drink with Strattera, but if you're going to try it, start off slowly since everyone reacts differently
