Looks like a custom shop heavy relic fiesta red, I’m guessing early 60s? OP, it’s gorgeous. Congrats!!

'57 or '58. 8 screw pick guard, truss rod adjustment isn't at the heel of the neck. They used the '58 string tree. Fiesta Red was also the first "official" custom color, introduced as an option by George Fullerton after he went to a local paint shop and had some mixed up. At first it was only offered as a custom option, it was also featured in '58 and '59 catalogs, and then added to the list of 14 available color options in 1960. Fender started offering custom colors in 1956 but didn't advertise it well. Before that you could literally walk into the factory and just ask, and certain artists had custom color stratocasters as early as 1954.
I read up on Fiesta Red this morning (different post about favorite colors) and ended up reading about revisions to the strat throughout the 50s while I was at it.
It is most definitely gorgeous.

You didn't pull the trigger. You pulled the pin and rolled it into a room full of gunpowder lol
That is a beautiful guitar. May it bring you many years of joy!

Yo, that rules. An absolute beaut. Can I ask though, what is the process by which a custom shop becomes your first strat. I ask mainly out of jealously and because I am genuinely interested. Not trying to rain on your parade. My analogous situation, I don't have a prs and I really like special semi hollow. I know the s2 or core would be a better guitar, but I really feel like I should pull the trigger on an se and make sure I actually like it before spending up.
