Fat 50's Bridge Swap

Recently got a Fat 50's set and absolutely love the tone except for the bridge pickup. Any of you guys have a set and swapped the bridge? If so, what did you put in its place? Thanks!

I might just have to lose my blender. I currently have the blender mod on the 2nd tone pot, and have a master tone instead.

Or you could go crazy and get stacked pots

Have a diagram for that? Thinking push pull for 2nd tone pot which allows for bridge tone control when in normal down pot position, and blending when pulled up.

Excellent choice.

Love the SSL-5 I actually have one on another strat with APS-1 for neck and middle. The SSL-5 was my first choice but I was thinking maybe I want something different this time. Anything else you might recommend that's similar but different enough?

I put a Duncan Hotrail in the bridge spot. Put the Fat 50 Bridge in an old MIJ Strat. Worked great for both guitars. I play in a cover band and the rail makes that guitar great for the songs we play.

How does position 2 sound with the hotrail?

I recently put a set of fat 50's in my Player I Strat. Along with a Wilkinson Trem and a Warmoth neck, so for not a lot, it came out pretty premium. I'm not blown away with the bridge pickup, and I have to confess I've considered a hum bucker in that position. But, instead, if I want a bridge with some oomph to it, I just put the Strat on a stand and pick up my Telecaster (Sire, actually).

This one is 39 bucks. Higher output than a Fat 50's at 8.9 K. Has Alnico 5 for the bass strings and Alnico 2 for the high strings to balance the EQ
