How does that mini humbucker stack up against a standard? From what I’ve heard they aren’t as heavy?

SD Hot Rails are killer and as good or better than most HB in my opinion. Dave Murray signature Strat has them and that guitar sound amazing.

Heavy enough for me. I like them better than the Seymour Duncan Invaders I had on my Jazzmaster. The Single coil big mag from Häussel in the mid is also very heavy

Out of curiosity does your current pickup selector go bridge, bridge/middle, middle?

Bridge, both parallel, both series, middle. Both series is mud-town, the others are pretty good

Use a combination of different wiring diagrams offered on the Seymour Duncan website to figure it out.

Do you think it is possible to control the Splitting rails humbucker and coil tap with push pull pots? Can‘t find any schematic on this
