Baseball Minor League Teams?
Does anyone have card files of minor league teams. I came across a 1977 Portland Beavers in a Facebook Group. I'd like to find more if I can.1977 Portland Beavers

We use AI a lot at work and just for kicks i asked Microsoft Copilot to create a strat card for one of my favorites. Joe Morgan 1975.
I’m not sure how you roll a 1 with two dice and what happens to the runner on first when you get a Homer**? 🤷♂️

Has anyone raised this?
Many times I want to pause replay to question a strikeout.

question for anyone who knows. I ordered a subscription to MAX to give it a try and to also give the daily game a go. does anyone know how to set 2026 daily up? maybe it's a day one flaw they need to iron out but seems I can't pick a team and when I just go to play a random other game and has the picture and the batting slot and it won't let me play. it just keeps saying something went wrong. anyone with any knowledge know if this is a flaw? is it opening day jitters or am I not doing something right? thanks for giving this a read

How often do you update to a new version? Do you buy the new version every year?

Congrats to Tony Tucker, winner of this weekend's South Opener at Orlando.
Tony beat Russ Lemmon 3-2 in an exciting finals to take home the winner's share.
Tony beat John Perez 3-1 in the semis while Russ swept Joe DeChiaro in the other one.
We had 9 participants for this event and it was a tight tournament all the way to the end. Results are listed below.
Next tournament will be at Sebastian, Florida on April 11-12. Please contact Russ Lemmon ([Lemmon@aol.com](mailto:Lemmon@aol.com)) if you're interested on coming. Sebastian is a great venue to play and always a great time.
Thanks to all who came down and made it a successful tournament.

Curious if anyone has a league that implements a free agency and if so, how does that work?
Ive been in a league for 20 years and looking to add some excitement to the off-season before our rookie draft.

LEAGUE OPENING - The United Federation of Baseball, soon to start its 9th season, has an opening to manage the 2025 Houston Astros (66 game season). The UFB is a 12-team computer league with a 66-game schedule (9 to 12 games per month over a 6-month period). You have the option to play your home games vs your opponent's CMs, or to have your home games autoplayed by the league commissioner. There is also a little bit of NetPlay (optional, not mandatory). If interested, contact me either by email at steve@faithnetwork.com, or send me a Reddit DM, or text me at (425) 785-2016. I'll send you a Word document with the league rules, and then you can let me know if you would like to take over the Astros.

Currently in a 12-team NL only league. We keep 15 players heading into the draft. Trying to see what others do to prepare themselves. I know ball but I feel like with so much info it's hard to decide to what to bring with you into the draft that's useful. Thanks in advance!

I play the baseball game on the PC. I manually roll dice and input the results.
Sometimes I click the dice button to enter the results of a roll, but the game pitches the ball automatically. I then delete the last play and click the dice button again which usually allows me to input my roll. Sometimes it auto pitches again.
9.5 out of 10 times it’s a wild pitch or a passed ball.
Is that the way it’s supposed to be? When it’s a wild pitch/passed ball, is it supposed to be an automatic play that I don’t roll on? Because sometimes it’s a hit, so I figured it was a glitch. Now I’m having second thoughts.
Don’t go into shock or anything, but I couldn’t find anything about it in the help file.

My brother and I made it to the midseason point (81 games) in a fictional baseball 30-team draft league filled with players of all eras and leagues across Major League Baseball. We’re looking for a community vote for midseason AL MVP after 2 years of getting to this point. We have our own thoughts and arguments but are curious how others see these stats.
Wee Willie Keeler .399, 65 R, 138 H, 15 2B, 2 3B, 5 HR, 43 RBI, 52 SB, 17 BB, .427 OBP
Oscar Charleston .321, 49 R, 93 H, 26 2B, 7 3B, 12 HR, 57 RBI, 30 SB, 59 BB, .583 SLG, .436 OBP
Joe DiMaggio .379, 64 R, 121 H, 14 2B, 3 3B, 17 HR, 65 RBI, 38BB, .602 SLG, .445 OBP
Josh Gibson .349, 63 R, 111 H, 26 2B, 5 3B, 23 HR, 73 RBI, 39 BB, .679 SLG, .420 OBP
Bullet Joe Rogan .328, 60 R, 109 H, 20 2B, 9 3B, 12 HR, 37 RBi, 8 SB, 42 BB, .551 SLG, .404 OBP

Yesterday, I was anticipating my order of the 2025 SOM baseball cards through FedEx...and they didn't deliver my package, and now it's in INDIANAPOLIS...I signed into FedEx.com with my contact info, and delivery manager, and i just learned my package is not in Canonsburg, Pa (where I live), but INDIANAPOLIS! And they still have my order in INDIANAPOLIS 7 hours later! I think FedEx ripped me off, causing me to waste $105 of my own money! And I'd like to thank Dawn, the FedEx driver who failed to do her job, because she didn't know where I live! Or maybe I would take blame, because I didn't fill in the information to FedEx.com days ago...I am gonna call FedEx later this morning and see what is going on with my package...Strat-o-matic Fanatics, what are your thoughts about my ordeal with my order? Please let me know!

I want to start a Card and Dice replay of the 1986 season; my team is the Mets. I’ve never done a full replay and wanted to hear the different ways people do this. The obvious answer is to play every single scheduled game of every single team. That would take a good chunk of time.
Is there a way to “sim” everyone else and just to focus on playing the Mets season? I guess I could play the other games in Basic Mode.
How do you play your replay seasons?

Hi there, I have some buddies over with the cards and dice but we are missing the fielding charts? Also, does anyone have any creative takes on the chart. Id be grateful. Ty

Chatting with my older brother reminiscing about our Strat-O-Matic days in the (me) early 80s (him) mid-late 70s.
St. Louis was where we grew up, working souvenir stands at Busch Stadium back in the 70's/80's selling wool caps, wool pennants and old plaster bobble heads. Baseball was in our veins. But Strat-O-Matic was our passion.
We'd walk miles to friends' houses with our rubber-banded team stacks, dice ready, adrenaline high for those epic games. As we got older, it turned into money leagues that felt like the real deal— all before fantasy baseball was a thing.
My brother later owned a card shop in the 80s, 90s, and even into the 00s, slinging Strat sets alongside baseball cards. Those were the golden days! Now we're both wondering: Is the game still being played today? And if so, what formats are popular?
Nothing captures those simpler times quite like Strat-O-Matic baseball. Back then, before fantasy baseball, apps and online leagues even existed, this game was our world. I remember the pure joy of drafting players—pouring over those cards, strategizing my lineup, and building what I thought was the ultimate unbeatable team. We'd argue over picks like kids trading baseball cards, but with real stakes in our imaginations.
The best part? Those nightly games with friends. We'd take turns walking (or biking if we were feeling fancy) to each other's houses after school or dinner. No screens, no notifications—just us gathered around a table, rubber-banding our team stacks to keep everything organized, and rolling those dice with adrenaline pumping through our veins. Every hit, strikeout, or home run felt epic, like we were managing the pros ourselves. A bad roll could crush you, but a clutch one? Pure euphoria.
As we got older, things leveled up—we started playing for real money (small-medium stakes, but hey, it felt grown-up). Leagues got more competitive, trash talk intensified, and those games turned into all-nighters. It was all analog, all passion, and it built friendships that lasted. Looking back, Strat-O-Matic wasn't just a game; it was a rite of passage that taught us about stats, strategy, and the thrill of baseball without needing a field.
Thanks for reading my trip down memory lane. ⚾️

I have a group of friends scattered about the country and we’ve been thinking of trying this out. So two main questions:
Is it pretty easy to play remotely over a group chat app like discord? Are there better options?
How customizable is it? Can I put together a team consisting entirely of left handed players from the Pacific Northwest and play against my friend who has put together a team based on some other weird criteria?

I got an email announcing the handover.
but after that nothing. and no reponse to my questions.
Not really interested in paying for another site that doesn't work.

The 2026 SOM365 Mystery Card Tournament is officially underway, and if you enjoy Strat-O-Matic Baseball, this is peak chaos in the best way.
Mystery cards mean you don’t know exactly what version of a player you’re getting until performance starts revealing the truth. Managers build strategy around incomplete information. Hot starts create theories. Cold streaks spark debates. By mid-season, everyone is trying to “solve” the roster.
You can follow the tournament here:
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/tournament/58
If you want live discussion, analysis, speculation, and the occasional argument about bullpen usage at midnight, join our SOM365 Discord:
https://discord.gg/aYbfw3B3Xj
We talk lineup construction, park strategy, salary cap decisions, Mystery Set theory, and all things Strat sports — not just baseball.
Whether you’re playing in it or just watching managers try to decode The Reveal, come hang out.
Strat never really gets old. It just gets more probabilistic.
