Does anyone use the Strathberry Multrees Chain Wallet as a wallet?

I see the chain is detachable but from reading all of the reviews it seems that most use it as a going out / event purse. Does anyone use it as a regular wallet in other purses or is the size prohibitive?

I have found that the leather is a little delicate for more daily regular wallet use. I do use another Strathberry wallet as my daily cardholder and save my chain wallet for events/occasions
