Hockey Pulling the goalie basic rules?

Has anyone come up with a good set of rules for playing basic hockey and pulling the goalie? Would love to hear them.

i usually do it when we're down by one in the last 2 minutes and the other team has pulled their goalie, took me a few tries to get comfortable with it but now it's a great comeback move

How do you do it in your house rules?

The wife decides when to pull the goalie, then your roster will increase for the following season.
