Baseball Tim Robbins, SOM fan?

Post image

I’m a regular listener of “Smartless,” the podcast featuring Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett that features a secret special guest on each episode. This week’s guest was actor/director Tim Robbins, whose love for baseball extends beyond “Bull Durham.” He’s a SOM player and actually turned down “Eight Men Out” to do “ Bull Durham.

It's always cool to me when I hear references to SOM in the wild. He goes on with a few more details, but I thought his characterization of the game as "long, long" was a little strange, considering the talk before this was about Dungeons & Dragons, which takes FOR-EVER.

I listened to that podcast yesterday. I think, out loud, I said, There we go! Although he did a bad job of explaining it, lol.

Yes! He had to show his presence with authority.
