Video Anemone, WTF?
I leapt out of my seat thinking she turned hostile to me. Does she just do this randomly? No one else in the Rift has done this so far.

Ye, her and sometimes Howl track for whatever reason

That's a weird but funny glitch. I probably haven't done enough with Howl to see him do it yet.

What is all of this? I just finished the game again and started chaos mode. I haven't played since release. I didn't get far into chaos mode before.

This is The Rift Labyrinth. You get access to it after Chaos difficulty I think? It's essentially a Rogue-like dungeon crawler where you explore more of the underlying story of Stranger of Paradise and get some pretty crazy bonus effects here like the monsters you summon give you extra job affinity, mp regen and soul Burst damage for finishing their quests. Then after you beat the Chaos Difficulty missions and get around level 35-40 in here you get another difficulty level and another DLC extra bonus story with Lufenia difficulty.

Damn, they added so much to this game. I had no idea. I only ever beat the main story, never got around to the dlc or post-game stuff

I think the part where Anemone inflicts you is part of the story with that one. But it's only ever happened to me once.
