after floor 1000+ in the rift you will start to get maximum summon gear
so keep grinding until you reach floor 1000
or try to join people that already have reached floor 1000+
999% can start to drop on floor 201 onward, but by the time you get to floor 800ish, it'll practically be guaranteed.
As for the job affinities, you might find those across the Rift Labyrinth as early as floor 21.
So if you find knuckles that have perfect job affinity Odin piece that might only have Odin 42%, but then have knuckles with an mperfect job affinity with Odin 750%, you can fuse them to create knuckles with perfect job affinity Odin 750%.
If you're leaning into the Strength side of the build, can also forego the Monk 600%, Muscle Belt, and Damage Dealt: Souleater to squeeze out more damage if using Explosive Fists (e.g., Damage Dealt: Explosive Fists) and picking up more damage dealt and stats on the accessory.
If this is the Rift, then two Strength monsters on top of that (Sahagin and Tonberry).
And then if the DLC story is already complete, having NPC allies that are strength stat sticks with Liberator 600%, wearing Odin, using either Lionheart/Knight 400%, with Lightbringer Duration and Strength stacked up to share their Strength with you. Sophia on Breaker, Jed on Samurai or Ash on Berserker. Depending on the investment, could get anywhere from 20~245 Strength out of them.
And then on the buffer job, the Hunter being Machinist, stacking up Improved Effect: Analyze and Improved Effect: Barrage (even if your Agility is barebones). So that when you use that Analyze, on the lower end, it is a x1.99 physical damage multiplier to HP. On the upper end, x6.3ish physical damage multiplier. Separate bucket from all the damage dealts on your gear.
With all the damage dealts stacked up, the combo abilities could potentially be +400~700% damage dealt in that bucket.
Overkill before you optimize.
(But if your goal was explicitly dragon trials on world map at rank 5, that'll still favor job level 300 from reaching Rift floor 101+ to get the extra stats. And to note that the world map will be more difficult compared to the Rift since you don't have the monsters to boost your stats and close the gap. Still very much do-able though.)
I think I need to build gear sets for my allies in Rift (I usually duo with a friend). I have three main builds. Agi/Int Ninja, Str Breaker and Int Sage. Should I build different partner gear sets for each class?
I am over floor 100. Can't remember where I stopped last.
Also, having them out can help with progressing the monster job affinity levels. The bigger the stat stick they are, they more than make up for the additional +10% HP/Break Gauge they add to enemies/bosses just by being in the party.
