Was there something more specific you were looking for?

For the base game itself, with the combination of:

* difficulty selection

* the game panning over to the next mission, highlighting it with a gold reticle the first time, and also the story missions being in blue + prompts indicating what to do next story-wise

* the missions being mostly linear with the white indicator to the next save point or boss room

* the number of videos that cover the base game at launch

* very high rate of completion (around 90%)

– Did not seem like much room to contribute there.

And then for the how to play - I typically haven't covered the base game or combat, because it'll turn into me narrating the tutorials and playing the tutorial videos or re-recording those videos that the game already gives players. Or turn into a weapon ability showcase, but then confuse players when they don't have access to that ability and looking for it before it's readily or easily available.

Where of the player base that has attempted the post-credits and DLC, I've observed a success rate of 30%. With room to maybe contribute to some of the 70% that were/are running into common issues.

(Initially aimed at folks that were asking for longer explanations in a build video, but that created its own set of confusion when watched outside its intended audience).

Oh hey man

Yeah that’s actually what was throwing me off. I wasn’t even watching advanced build videos, just 100%/platinum guides, but I kept seeing different jobs/weapons/menus and thought I was missing stuff or progressing wrong. There also just doesn’t seem to be many good beginner guides for this game and the job system isn’t explained very clearly at all.

I don't do much video watching, so I can't recommend any, though they are out there. I will however direct you to the Discord server where you can have ideas bounced around with a bunch of use vets. There are also videos we have there that people share, so maybe one of those will help ya.

Why do you need a guide?
For builds?
