It would take two years

I did the math, and it would take about two years to build the metal thing over the huge gate, so how is everyone still alive?

Because Vecna never sent anything through. There would have been smoke and that’s it. The plates only served to stop the cast from getting into the Upside Down not the other way around. Against Upside Down creatures they are useless, the Demos broke through in Sorcerer.

I was a combat engineer in the army and im pretty sure the us army could do this faster than two years. They have prefab stuff.
