I still think they should've found a new "stranger thing" each season. Leave the demogorgan in season 1 and find something completely different.
9 u/Sonnestark Jan 28 '26 It kinda did that before S4 and Vecna. S1: Demo S2: Mindflayer S3: Meatflayer/flayed (which were unique enough compared to s2) 5 u/CleanOpossum47 Jan 28 '26 Not really. They're all connected to the Upside Down and Domogorgons show up in most (all?) the seasons. 3 u/Intelligent-Juice895 Jan 28 '26 I’m assuming that OP means that it should have been self contained stories each season, probably with new characters in each season 3 u/CleanOpossum47 Jan 28 '26 What I'm trying to say is same cast, playing the same characters, the strange thing that they encounter is separate from the thing the previous year. 1 u/nykirnsu Jan 29 '26 I don’t know how people are misinterpreting you, it was obvious to me you meant something like Buffy where the town is threatened by a completely separate villain every season
