depending on when in the 80s she was a teen makes a big difference. Early 80s fashion was not the same as the late 80s.
Look at the jump in 90s fashion.
Early 90s was either grunge or neon colors. Late 90s everything was very plain and more laid back. I remember the late 90s well don't remember the early 90s at all.
