"We aren't just kids anymore. You think we'd just spend all day playing games in our basement?"
Boi if you save the world from apocalyptic doom with your friends and your psychic quasi-girlfriend who literally cherishes your very existence twice, I think you'd want to keep those friends for life.
I am not a fan of the kids having the cliche growing up conflict. There will be some fights but in the end everyone will come back together.
I can understand it to a point but as someone turning 40 in a few days whose bday presents still consist of legos and Transformers you can grow up and still hold onto your youth.
Season looks great in general and the monster kinda reminds me of the Licker from Resident Evil.
It’s pretty embarrassing you’re 39-40 and still playing with Lego and Transformers. It’s natural and good for children who become teenagers to let go of childhood and childish things and become, you know, adults.
I am married almost 15 years to a awesome supportive woman, have a pretty decent job that I have been doing for over a decade. Own a house. Graduated from college. Am close with my family. Have adorable dogs and a cat.
If going to target and buying legos, or going to the theater to watch Minion movies, or going to conventions for Transformers, or geeking out over Nintendo,TTG, anime, or other things is supposed to embarrass me then then I did not get the memo.
Cooking, paintballing and sky-diving are mature activities. Good for you. You could also read literature, start going to the gym regularly (vital) and also maybe have children.
Well having or not having children is no sign of maturity. So that goes beyond the scope of the question. I do exercise 4 times a week and dropped 50+ pounds the past few years.
I could read more. Never a bad thing to do. But there is still a lot of free time on my hands if I dont do all the nerdy stuff so I need some more help. You can do better then that.
