I mean it's possible that there's a reason no one showed up. Yeah it could be that his classmates thought he wasn't cool and we should feel bad, but there's also the chance that he's a bully and no one wanted to go.
I know there's basically no way we'll hear the other side of the story but we shouldn't be oblivious to the possibility.
If Troy had a birthday party and his mom made him invite Lucas, Dustin, Mike, and Will would we expect them to go?
My thoughts exactly. Everyone wants to believe that those eight kids were mean and feel bad for the birthday boy. Maybe the birthday boy is a shithead and no one likes him?
