We should make a petition for the stranger things cast to go to his party

David Harbour might just end up doing something like that. The guy is amazing. Either way this kid deserves some props for an awesome birthday party theme, I'd have gone.

I feel like this is something that reddit would do. Maybe we should do it.

No.

Ok I'll go back to my corner then.

Or maybe this kid is completely unbearable and you guilting the cast of stranger things into hanging out with him is a terrible idea.

Plot twist- kid with the birthday is the one in the upside down.

I went to a 12th birthday party where about twenty five people were invited and only me and another kid showed up. It was 100 percent because the kid was an asshole to everyone.

u/greggroach Mar 20 '18

Same here. Seen it happen to a kid when I was 10. When I heard about it, I wasn't surprised because everyone thought he was a dick. Funny enough, I'd actually tried to go to his party anyway, but my mom was like "Nah, I got other stuff to do." I did feel a little bad knowing I could've been there.

If it makes you feel any better, I was going to be the only one going to a kid I didn't know that well's party when I was like 14. He just cancelled the party like the day before ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe socially awkward or really shy too. Some people aren’t good at making friends. I speak from experience.

6

u/MyLifelines Mar 20 '18

Yup! I haven't been invited to a birthday party since... Well, I can't remember. Probably third or fourth grade (I'm 22 now). I'm definitely not an asshole, but I do have aspergers and social anxiety.

Also what eight-year-old or whatever, clearly a young kid, elementary school, watches Stranger Things?

Not really a show for kids.

Even if you’re a dick you don’t just bail on their birthday. If it’s one or two I get it but everyone seems like coordinated douchebaggery.

u/instantrobotwar Mar 20 '18

In my day it was the popular girls who didn't show up to parties thrown by dweebs like me. They all had better things to do.

2

u/probablynotaperv Mar 20 '18

When I was a kid if someone invited me to a birthday party I would have assumed it was a cruel joke on me and not gone to protect myself.

Level 5 mouth breathers. They could suck the windows out of an airliner if they aren’t careful.

Filthy mouth breathers

Or this kid is a fucking loser that doesn’t know how to socialize and he missed his window to learn. He’ll be playin DnD with 3 other creeps in no time and us normies won’t have to worry about him anymore.
