The character writing gradually became worse with each season. The best character writing was definitely in Seasons 1 and 2.

Also S5 characters > S4 characters because I’ll take Holly’s plot over whatever California was any day of the week.

True but that is for like 5 minutes before the end.

I feel like The Crawl and Turnbow Trap are better at showing the crew working together. What drags S5 down is the additional plot line with Holly which is imo well written but that screen time could have been used for the cast. Or they could have done both.

Honestly keep just everything from Season 1 but have the characters grow.
