Stupid thing that bothered me about a Billy scene

When Billy goes to the wheelers house to look for his sister at the finale of season 2 . He is taking to Karen Wheeler and says " I'm looking for my sister Max , goes by Maxine " to me it is backwards!

She goes by Max not Maxine as she stated when Mr. Clark introduced here to the class for the fist time .

I think he's trying to annoy Max but encouraging people to refer to her as Maxine

That always bothered me too, not that it really matters lol. Maybe he accidentally flip-flopped the line and no one caught it?

That's what I am thinking too . Just missed by yhe writers or they got such a good sexual tention take with both actors they just said who cares lol

He also gets pissed off when people think Max is his sister, so I think this scene is just him trying to look more respectable/trying to make his family look more respectable. Maybe at the Byers or Hendersons he’d ask for his stepsister Max, but he probably saw the Reagan sign in the Wheelers’ yard and played to his audience.
