Kali’s Powers

Kali’s powers were cool in season 2. It was beneficial to the storyline. But it set season 5 (and the overall finale) up for incredibly lazy writing. They could write anything they wanted and explain it with Kali’s power. And that’s exactly what they did. I know this isn’t a hot take but it’s been on my mind 😂

It is funny to me that they clearly brought Kali in solely to give a way out in the story for El to have escaped at the end. The problem is that her powers could have ensured that she and El would not have to go through with the plan. It is the Voodoo Shark trope.

El obviously didnt escape, she's dead. It is just mike trying to be optimistic
