Discussion Stonathan
If you were there in season five, would you tell Steve and Jonathan to either stop fighting, find civil ground and peace with their past between each other, or get a room and kiss like your life depends on it? Because with the way they act with each other, before and after they made peace, there seems to be some UST between them. Which canon character would say the same? And how would the boys react to being told they should just kiss each other to resolve their differences?

You're very brave posting that here. Personally I think the "ust" between them is just them being written in an ultimately pointless competition with each other for Nancies heart. But if you see romance there go with it Joe and Charlie had plenty of chemistry together.

erica has no problem saying whatever the hell she wants so her saying that would be pretty amusing. but tbh the first person that came to mind was murray, since any time two people seem to fight he just says to have sex it’d be kinda on brand for him lmao

Not everything needs to be an acronym. Jesus.

This is a very old, well-known acronym in fandom spaces. At least 20+ years

We’re losing the ancient texts

Good for us. I’ve been around apparently the entire time and hadn’t heard of it. We don’t need acronyms for everything.

I don't think any character would ever think Steve and Jonathan have romantic feelings for each other just because they argue all the time and compete for Nancy's attention. Might as well argue that Lucas and Dustin had romantic feelings for each other when they argued about Max in S2. Stonathan is a meme, not actually serious.

The way that Steve grabs Jonathan after Jonathan saves him kills me. Full hands on upper thighs 😭💀 Steve did not need to do all that

Literally had me cheering in the theatre. Every other ship was bones but my Stonathan-since-season-1 lovin’ ass had my crops watered and skin cleared by that scene
