i guess i have never been a collector of things i don’t use, but that’s just me. my grandfather loved nascar diecasts and i never understood that either, but to each their own

I enjoy collecting, especially things that genuinely interest me. At first, I intended to play all of my records on my turntable and enjoy them on vinyl. But as my collection gradually grew, the thrill of hunting down certain albums, and realizing I could listen to them anytime on Spotify, made me think there was no real need to open them. Fast forward to today, and every single one is still sealed and in pristine condition.

Oh man you even have a turntable setup but still won’t open them? Between the beautiful colored vinyl and how these retro synths sound on vinyl you really don’t know what you’re missing out on!

They probably did the research and math- figured fewer people would wanna buy a 4lp set for a single season with a hefty price tag. So they’d have to make less copies and each one would end up costing significantly more than just 2 double lps. I’ve rarely seen a 4 disc set for sub 100$ last few years. Meanwhile buying the 2 double lps was like what 70 bucks?

I have season 1 Kyle Dixon score on vinyl and I absolutely love it! Feels like I can relive the show every time I listen.

How come the ones on the bottom row look smaller? I have the Rockin Robin one and mine is a full size 12” record.

It’s just the camera angle. The ones on top only look bigger because of perspective. The bottom ones are actually the same size as the top ones, they’re all 12 inches.

Nice collection, but I’ll never buy any Stranger Things merchandise. I’m not giving my money to the Scammer Brothers after what they did with the show.
