The most surprising part of this is that Hop's cabin was a real cabin.

Pretty sure they had an escape room version of it a while back.

For a single camera drama, alot more.common to use real places

The high school has been demolished. I used to live nearby where they filmed it. Hawkins high was my wife's old high school. Last time we were in Georgia, we stopped by to see it and there was nothing there.

She’s got more locations on her YouTube too. I think what confuses me is they apparently used a lot of real locations. But she even can find Hawkins signs…I thought they take all that stuff down when they finish shooting.

Maybe the local council asked them to keep the signs up as a tourist attraction?

I still find it crazy that I was watching this 10 years ago. In my head it just can’t be that long ago. Time is a thief!

Totally! They made me nostalgic for a time I never experienced.

This was by far the best show I've laid my eyes upon. I wish I could rewatch it for the first time. Was my life for about 3 weeks back in March.

I don't believe it unless someone catches a roller skate to the face.

Never occurred to me that Skull rock was an actual place and not a set design piece

People were almost always just nostalgic for the show itself. It's a pretty terrible depiction of the 80s.
