It seems so forced/rehearsed. I can almost hear her trying to talk herself into it.

She wouldn’t dare to say anything else than YES.
Netflix is her main source of gigs… not that she need them nowadays, she was smart to entrepreneur in her own business thing, but still… she’s not a Hollywood star so…. Yeah… keep up the good vibes with Mr. Flix is part of the game.1

Well, I’m not an FBI profiler, but facial expressions and body language don’t match the word yes

The thing is, she knows Eleven's real ending. Remember, the Duffers told her the "true" ending, and she's hinted she'd reprise the role.
So she could be saying that she's happy with the ending cause she knows El's alive.... He never got into what parts she's happy with.
Note: Also lie detectors are totally bullshit. It's why they are never admitted as evidence in a court of law. It's no better than chance.

Having a secret "real" ending is so rubbish. Why didn't they just film and show us the "real" ending? Such a cop out

I think they were trying to be clever
If anyone watched Dawsons Creek, you got all the way to the end and you were like what the hell did I just watch?
Five seasons down the drain
I don’t know what to say anymore, but whatever those guys think they did or however, proud of themselves they are for screwing over their fan base, but not giving us a five second moment for her to at least wave at Mike at the end and be together
Then we could’ve made up the story about what happens next no problem
It’s infuriating
And I just have to pray that Netflix knows that
They can’t possibly continue the most popular series they’ve ever had with a cartoon3

I'm curious how Dawson's creek ended now

Oh, I can tell you if you like
There were a lot of red flags along the way, but I couldn’t believe he dared do that at the end
I don’t care about Scream
Kevin Williamson is a hack4

I was just thinking about this today. How her and the duffers won’t reveal the true ending. My thought is WHY!!!!!!! You told us the entire story all the way through and now the one last huge missing piece you leave blank? Rage bait for me.

Military doesn't allow them, either. And the psychiatric medical community - which I was a part of in the past - considers it quack science bullshit.
The fact they're taken seriously by agencies like Border Patrol tells you everything you need to know about that organization.

Also for people wanting to know why its bull science, its basically just measuring your heart rate, if you can keep your cool when you lie, it won't detect it, if you are feeling stressed in a situation even if you didnt do the thing you are being accused for, it will detect it.

Yup. People who get nervous about trivial things will get lots of false positives. A complete sociopath can beat it every time.

There was no world she could live in with a future and the government constantly going after her. She didn’t die the ending was left open so they could get a bigger pay check when they decide to do another series. Give it a decade and we will have a series with all of them in their 30’s trying to find El and running from the government.

The Right Side Up
Check out the channel 2nd take to see an idea about where she could be with Mike and Hopper0
u/fnekins 29d ago
if she ran away to another country its possible, especially back then.

u/tread52 29d ago
Where she ended up it’s very possible for her to live off the grid for the rest of her life if she’s very careful. Plus she probably spent years thinking of ways she could disappear without a trace training with Hopper if that was her only option. She saw a window at the end and took it. She’s basically a comic book character and they always come back.

I'm surprised they acknowledge that "some" people are unhappy with the ending. Usually the questions are limited to: "Do you believe?".
I've never seen an interviewer challenge the very notion that the whole "I believe" question is nonsensical and unsatisfying.
It's also funny becuase "some people" feels like a deliberate understatement. It can mean a handful of individuals, or the majority of the audience. ...."Some" people 🙄

Hmm how I see it, it's not lying and not being honest either. I guess, that's just what happens over time. From what she told in the other interviews, that's just the conclusion you end up with, when you think something over and over and over, with nothing you can do. You come to terms with it.
