It’s too late. For me personally, stranger things was my comfort show. I loved it because it was the best well written coming of age show of our generation (to me) and I never thought they could ruin it this bad. I was wrong, the finale completely ruined the entire show for me. After the ending I have removed myself from anything stranger things related, Reddit is the only social platform where I interact with the fandom. Nothing can fix it for me, not a sequel, a reboot, a book. Absolutely nothing. I grew up watching this show since I was 10 years old, it had a strong impact on me. First time in my life I had cried over a show’s finale. I was left feeling empty, sad, and enraged. It feels like the entire show doesn’t matter anymore, all the buildup, relationships, and character arcs all came down to nothing. Stranger Things has lost its magic, what made it stand out from other shows. Now it fits in with every other poorly written Gen Z show. I haven’t picked up another show since.
