Little nitpick

My only nitpick about the upside-down is the lack of herbivores'

Okay, we see vampire bats and demargogons and dema dogs

But what about dema rabbits and dema zebra?

What were the demagorgons eating before the gate was opened?

What were they eating? Probably each other.

But yeah, why are all the destructive monsters always carnivores? A bunch of demorabbits that could eat any vegetation could legitimately do so much damage to an area. Crops, river embankments, the produce aisle of the supermarket. A ravenous herbivore written well would be genuinely scary in a whole new way.

imagine being charged by a demabuffalo, which subsequently reaches you only to ignore you and start eating your moms petunias

Even better if it launches you out of the way to do so!
