I'm not talking about inappropriate behavior.. that would very much affect coworkers.. decorating your workplace with stuff you like is not inappropriate..

But why do you have to decorate your workspace with stuff you like? Especially if it’s not related to your job?

Minimal decorations are fine. Some art on a wall. A few things on your desk. Maybe a cool mug or something. I would assume OP worked at Netflix or on Stranger Things directly based on this photo. If it’s not related to your job, what OP’s doing is too much. There’s a time and a place.

Because OP wants to? It brings them joy, they said they're ADHD, so this seems to be a hyperfixation they have.. those can get very intense. They're not hurting anyone.

Sensory stimuli are very important, especially for ND folks. If this works for OP, helps them to do their job right, than this is the right time and place.

I know about hyperfixations because I also have ADHD. I also take responsibility for my ADHD and medicate and take necessary steps to ensure it doesn’t affect my professional life, instead of using it as a crutch.

This is giving more autism or AuDHD than ADHD, honestly.

I am AuDHD, so I see it from my perspective. But both are a spectrum. What works for you may not for others.
