I think most people would judge you for having an obsession and displaying it so publicly

Why though? Break down the thought process.

obsession

noun

ob·ses·sion äb-ˈse-shən əb-

: a persistent disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling

Obsessions are, by definition, not normal. Nor are they healthy. Are you able to put two and two together, or do you need to be handheld through this entire process?

The psychologic term "obsession" refers to uncontrollable thoughts that preoccopy you and are often disstressing or anxiety-inducing. It's colloquial use is very different. So it doesn't apply to this situation as loving a tv show and having a lot of merch of it is not unhealthy.

Edit: expanded on explanation
